Son of a Physician and a Nurse, Víctor has been fascinated by the human body and it’s interconnected workings from a very young age. This passion led him to a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005. After years of working in different realms of healthcare as a Physical Therapist and Massage Therapist in Europe, he became a Watsu professional in 2012 (www.iswatsu.com) and eventually a Licensed Massage Therapist in Oregon in 2016.
Becoming a father in 2010, Víctor discovered a new passion for the power of pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. It is his most sincere belief that we can make this world a better place by better caring for pregnancy and birth. In each session with Víctor, his clients can depend upon his full presence, intuitive touch, and connection to their specific aims and needs, creating harmony while reducing pain, tension, stress, and anxiety.
He has been practicing bodywork, massage and manual therapy for 13 years and his training through the years has been extensive (+2500h) with different schools around the world. Víctor seamlessly combines a wide variety of techniques, including Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu, Craniosacral Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Maitland Australian Manual Therapy, and Ayurvedic Massage. With the knowledge gained from studying pregnancy and birth alongside his wife, a Full Spectrum Doula, Víctor offers his wisdom and understanding during Prenatal Massage and Bodywork sessions. Ultimately, he is deeply drawn to supporting life from the very beginning and hopes to share his passion for a natural and healthy approach to birth and parenting.
Victor also enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys in nature and around town. He also loves cooking, gardening, dancing, playing drums, biking, hiking, and connecting with new and old friends.
